I just ate there for the first time and was very impressed. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. The fries were fresh and nice and crisp. They have two sauces, regular and spicy. I have been waiting for a really good BBQ restaurant north of the river for a while. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and great food. I will definitely be going back
The northland finally got some amazing BBQ!! Been here twice and both times have been delicious! This will most definitely be a weekly stop! Margaritas were on point too! My only suggestion would be to add a bigger variety of local craft beers and some Mexican lagers to the menu but I imagine that will come in due time as they are still in their soft opening stage. Support local cause this place is fire!
The food was delicious! I got the burnt ends and my husband got the brisket sandwich. Both were super good. The owner came out and met us which was fun, he told us about the history of how he's been smoking meats for 20yrs. Definitely recommend!
This is a bbq place that is gunna be hard to beat. So far burnt ends, pulled pork and the wings are amazing. Best wings in KC! This place might just be the new best BBQ in Kansas City!
The brisket melts in your mouth like cotton candy! Whether you get it on the loaded fries, the quesadilla or the sandwich you can't go wrong. I love the hot bbq sauce -it's a good sweet heat.
